St. Raymond’s Society provided practical, realistic support at a time in my life when there didn’t seem to be any options for me and my daughter besides day-to-day survival. We wouldn’t be where we are today without the help we received. I am exceedingly grateful.
God has truly blessed our community with the addition of St. Raymond’s Society. As the executive director of Pregnancy Resource Center for more than 12 years, I know all too well of the plight of a single mothers, much less those who finds themselves homeless. It is with great confidence that we refer these mothers to St. Raymond’s Society. Not only will they be welcomed with open arms and given a place to stay, these mothers are put on a path to self-sufficiency.
Giving a hand up instead of a hand out . . . helping someone stand on their own two feet . . . now that’s something that my wife and I believe in. We’ve worked hard to have what we have and we want to help others have nice things too. St. Raymond’s Society is teaching these young ladies how to work for what they want. With grit and determination. By the time they leave that House they are going to know how to get things done.
Zuleima personifies what St. Raymond’s Society is all about. Beyond her primary goal of being the very best mother possible to Dixie, she is highly motivated to earn her college degree and provide the very best life possible for Dixie.
